I like the wood combination and the ring work looks really nice!

I am curious about the construction techniques for these segmented handles. How do you join the segments? Tenons and connecting screws?

The handle is cored all the way thru with rock maple. The segments are sleeved over the core....Dave

Boy do I feel stupid!

It makes perfect sense now....I just couldn't get the idea of a handle with a connecting screw and tenon out of my mind. Thanks!
