PUT UP OR SHUT UP

The IPT has certainly shook up the pool scene. It matters little what anyone thinks of any of the individuals involved, what one thinks of the format, how one likes to dress and/or any of the questions an individual player may think are his/her privilge and right. The line is drawn in the sand for all to see. The only question now is who are the real players, with real games, entering real qualifying events, for real spots, on a real tour, for real moneys and who have real goals to make a living playing pool as their profession and how serious are they about improving their games in order to reach that goal?
I see the first qualifying event is set for Atlanta in late Jan/06, not long to wait for the answers. We all know of regional unknown players with game, heart, large ego's, passion, no money(too bad for them...LOL), dreams of being the best, and now we will find out all the who, what, where, and how many will put their games out there for the chance to be a true professional, making a living wage playing the game they love...couldn't be finer for all real players and all of us wanna be's who can only enjoy watching it all unfold before our interested eyes...gotta love it boy and girls!.....8-|

Is the IPT the best thing to happen for pool in decades or what???

I'd say...maybe a couple...pro pool players are poor and relay on sponsors.

Bump....
I'm thinking they won't get 32 paid qualifiers in Atlanta...hope I'm wrong...LOL

I believe the first qualifier is at the DCC on Jan. 15 and 16th.
I still say is is sad that 142 were picked and to replace the 8 that did not show up you now have to pay up to 8,000 just on fees to try to qualify with very little odds to finish 1st or 2nd. I know the reward is great but I just feel they should have been chosen from a backup list just like the original 150.
