Putnam and Bryant withdraw from the World Championships

Anyone know why these two AZ posters have withdrawn?

The realease states that:
Charles Bryant (USA) has withdrawn from Group 10. This spot will now become Qualifier 12.

and

Finally, Shawn Putnam (USA) has withdrawn from Group 23 due to ill-health. His spot will go to Santos Sambajon (Philippines).

Just wondering if Shawn is okay? and why did Charlie pull out?

Anyone know?

I am sorry to hear that these two monster players with monster breaks will not be attending.
