A local pool hall (turned bar with new owners) in DFW is selling 2 9ft gold crowns for $100 each. The guy doesn't know what a GC is, and claims the only playing issue is that the rails are separating from the wood. If I'm to safely assume that the rubber is probably shot at the least.... can you really go wrong for $100? What do I need to look for on an older crown?
I don't mind putting $400-$500 into it. (Considering I'm moving it myself)
