So I'm reading the APA magazine, reading up on the mini-mania tournys that they run and it says that " you must have 10 matches in the last two years in either 8-ball or 9-ball to be eligable to play.

Does that mean since I have only played on a masters team the last two years that I can't play in in these ? Man I hope not, that's really the main attraction for me.

APA Mini's

I would guess that you would be able to play in the mini's as long as you are a current APA member. However if you do not have any handicapped scores within the last two year then I would expect them to make you play as a seven in eight ball and a nine in nine ball.

I know when you have insufficient scores in nine ball they take your eight ball handicap and bump it one i.e. if you are a five in eight ball you have to play as a six in nine ball.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info. The last time I played 8-ball or 9-ball in the apa was 09. I'm a 9 in 9ball and a 7 in 8ball, but none within the last two years.

I just talked to a guy that says that I indeed will not be able to play the mini manias for the above reason. I do play in an APA maters league, but something about Masters not being sanctioned or some shit. SIcks because I have about 600 put aside just for the mini entry fees
