Question about cue cases

In "standard" 2 x 4 case like the ones made by Instrokes and Justis. The shoulder straps is on the side of the case, is it not better (functionally) to put the strap at the back of the case ?
 
it should absolutely be center back of ANY case and make sure shit you can fit a camelback pouch in it providing your liqueur of choice, no doubt, as you shoot.

other specifics, well, what cue are you carrying? hows your car/truck look or/hike with your wood and/or where do you prefer to carry it as in up high or down low?

there are numerous of ways of hiding your matter. myself i use a folding guz, taking 5oz of intoxicant but i do look stupid suckin on the tip..
 
back strap

I used to think the strap belonged on the back also.
I just got a case with a side strap and it's actually quite comfortable.
