anyone have any info on a Joss Cue, don't know what year, limited edition willie mosconi series (w/certificate). trying to figure out the estimated value. any help would b appreciated. Thanks

The Blue Book of Pool Cues is coming out this week at Valley Forge. Hopefully it will be available at the Midwest Open too. I am sure you will be able to purchase it VIA internet or magazine ad. This book can help you along with many othes. In addition, you can write to Joss and include a picture of the cue, I am sure they will be willing to help.

There are many wonderful cuemakers on this forum, if you can post a picture, maybe one of them can help you.

There were two models (different patterns, one model had 526 cues same pattern ..similar woods used in similar areas and the other model had 125 cues ), both models seemed to sell for about $1200 back in '97. I don't know what the original retail value was. The certificate, I think, may have value by itself because it really has Mrs. Mosconi's signature on it. I was offered $100 just for the certificate from a friend of mine who has "everyone's" autograph.
Some of the cues were selling for about $800 "WithOut" the certificate. Mine has two shafts (they only had one that came with it) and mine had a leather wrap put on it immediately after I obtained it. It was brand new. The cue ID # is engraved on the stainless joint.
Have only seen one other ...in Texas (2001)..the owner wanted $1500! ...without the leather wrap and only one shaft...

thanx for the info on the cue. my friend just traded a dale perry speedster (he got off ebay for 350) to an older guy east of springfield, mo for the willie mosconi joss cue (526 cues), w/a certificate, he was wondering the value of the cue. Thanks again for all the info. It's in near mint shape....also got a Joss jump cue in the deal and $100 cash. never seen a Joss jump cue either lol.
