Question for APA former Vegas folks

I was there last year (watching, not playing) during the ladies team event and the 9-ball teams event. The minis usually filled up about 24 hours in advance. I wanted to play but my girlfriend's team kept winning until the evening before the final day so I watched them play instead.
RE: certain hours of the day, it seemed that they all filled up regardless of the time.
Good luck out there. It was a lot of fun just being there and watching. I hope to play out there someday.
When will you be arriving? If you get there the night before it starts be prepared for at least a 2-hour wait to check into the Riv.

That will be in the middle of the ongoing tourneys so yeah you won't have any problem.
If you see The Wicked Witches (ladies 8-ball) from Millville OH tell them Wally said hi. As a matter of fact we are playing in a scotch doubles benefit tourney at their place this afternoon.
no go for Janice
Janice is still to weak to travel. She's trying to gather her strenght to have the left carotid artery done within about 25 days or so. It's 70% blocked..
I have two of my many grandaughters [both 19 years old] one lives in one of the guest houses, and the other is down from Austin, texas, to help her "bamaw", while I'm on the road. I think Janice's sister is coming in also, along with one of our daughters from Houston. Plenty of good help, for my bride. I'll be leaving wed. morning about day light, stop in Phoenix over night and cruse in around noon, thrusday. 1360 miles, hanger my man, hanger....

Hey Pel, Blud and frankncali, I’ll be there as well from the 19th to the 23rd for the triple play event. I’ll try to hang around Blud’s booth when I’m not kickin’ ass on the table (roulette table that is) or eating or spending time with my wife or seeing the sites or…. well, you know.

hey Blud, does this mean that I am bringing the coffee in the morning?lol As far as the mini's go...they are a blast and they do fill up in the mornings and the afternoons fairly quick. If you find one that you want to play in and is full just hang around the booth and wait for someone to sell thier spot in mini. I play in the mini's at night and usually dont have any trouble getting into them after 9pm.
