Question on McDermott NG j/b line

Hi,

I was looking at the NG01 as an affordable j/b option. I noticed that the NG05 has the G core shaft as well as the stinger (how it's described on their website). Is the G core worth it or even necessary for this kind of cue? So I guess the ultimate question is the NG01 or 05 better?

The g gore is included so you can use it as a shooting cue. The stinger is for breaking/jumping.
