sorry on the attachments instead of the pictures posted, immediately, please look at the pictures, I thought I did it right, but it didnt open the pictures up, you have to select them and look at them indivdually.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Any help on the info on this cue and also what you guys as cue experts would reccomend if i was looking at doing a classy but functionsl mechanically, conversion on this dufferin.

what would you reccomend and what can you tell me about the cue and quality of components in the building of this cue?

ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL, I HAVE HAD THE PHANTOM AND EXCALIBURS, AND A COUPLE OF BUTTERFLYS, BUT NOTHING WITH A WINDOW STYLE WITH BOX IN THE FOREARM STYLE,

I THOUGHT THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT CONVERSION WITH JUST A FEW MODS.

WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THESE, HOW RARE AND WHEN DID THEY MAKE THEM 70'S 80'S 90'S.

wHAT DID THEY SELL FOR IN THE YEARS THEY MADE THEM??

What you have is a Dufferin Tournament cue. It sold for $214.99 in 1996 and was discontinued in 1997. It is the second highest cue in the Signature Collection (Black Widow was highest $249.95) which contained their aluminum joint.

The cue is nice the way it is but you could remove the aluminum joint and replace it with a more conventional joint. Not sure if the result would warrant the expense.

Dufferin Cue

The cue is a Dufferin D-3100 Tournament. These where made for Dufferin Inc. USA around 1989 and featured a full Roswood butt with real inlays.
We did not have these in Canada so I'm uncertain of the retail pricing but I would assume it would have been in the $250.00 range as it was one model down from the Black Widow. Hope that helps.

These were made in Canada at their plant in Mississauga and were available to the Canadian market. I sold a number of these when I was dealing with Dufferin.
