questions re: making an extension with Predator QR pin

Hello all,

I did some searching here and was not able to come up with an answer so here goes.

I have a cue fitted to accept a Predator QR extension and am looking to make one but have some questions:

I am a semi-novice woodworker and have a capable wood lathe (not cue lathe). I also have 32mm OD thin wall carbon fiber tube from another project (ID is 30mm). The OD is close enough to 1.25" that I want to give it a go.

So here are the questions:

1) For the pin, is it just a standard unilock that the Predator QR butt takes?
2) Is there some sort of insert available that is used to plug both ends of the tube so that it can be tapped for the pin/bumper or is it raw stock turned to size?
2a) If raw stock, what material is recommended to use?
3) Am I missing something else? Any other information/assistance would be welcomed.

You will need the Uni-Loc bullet pin, not the regular Uni-Loc pin.
Juma is a popular material, comes in a myriad of colours, machines and polishes nicely.
