So, I purchased an 8-inch extender for my Mezz some time back, the adapter for the butt fits great, but it has the full long set of tiny threads. Now that I am actually playing regularly I realize that I need something that is quicker to take on and off the queue. So, I ordered an 8-inch quick release bullet joint extender (black carbon-fiber) from Konllen with the Mezz adapter. It was great, but the adapter would not thread into the end of my Mezz. I think it might have just been defective threads on the adapter, but since I cannot really talk to anyone there at Konllen then I cannot know if there would be any difference if I ordered a replacement from them. The bullet joint was SO nice though...
Frankly, I do not want the production extender from Mezz - it is extremely ugly with the giant Mezz banner on one side, and it is ridiculously expensive too. And the bullet joint ones seem a lot easier to deal with putting on and off the cue.
I found quickly that attempting to talk to Konllen about the defective (or incorrect) adapter was useless. I loved the extender itself just needed the right adapter. But realized it was useless trying to talk to them, so I returned it. Unfortunately there doe snot seems to be ANY generic quick release extensions out there for Mezz.
I found something listed at J&J, but when I called to talk with them about it the lady was very short and just kept saying in very difficult to understand broken English, "NO this not the one. You don't want this one. It is wrong..." I called 2-days in a row, and the same lady just kept saying, "No this not the one you want..." lol
Maybe the one from J&J is fine, and they are just confused? It doesn't have to be bullet joint, I just want something easier than the one I have with like 16 tiny threads that takes 8-10 turns to take on and off.
The one pictured on J&J site looks fine... but, apparently according to them, "It is not the one I want. No is wrong one..." lol I am tempted to order it anyway.

Anyone happen to know where I can get a basic carbon fiber quick release extender with an adapter that works, for a Mezz? Perhaps someone here know if the J&J version of the generic one is ok, and they are just confused a little?
