This weekend's 1st of the Month One Pocket and 9 Ball tournaments were won by Rafael Martinez.

Rafael played almost perfect pool this weekend, winning the One Pocket event on Saturday with only a loss in the finals, and only lost one match on Sunday to come from the One Loss side to win both matches of the finals.

Congrats for the great playing. Super weekend for Mr. Martinez.

2nd place finish for the weekend's event for the One Pocket event was Amar Kang. Amar won the 1st match of the finals against Rafael, but lost in the second match of the DE Tournament.

2nd Place in the Sunday 9 ball event was Robert Aldana who took the Hot Seat match, but lost to Rafael twice, going to the Hill-Hill in the final match.

Over $1700.00 in prize funds for this weekend. Hard Times Added $300 to each of these tournaments.

Raphael Martinez is by far the most entertaining player to watch when he is in stroke.

Raphael can do things with the cb that boggle the mind. I watched him doing trick shots in Reno one year and his shots were all skill shots, not set up shots.
