Rail cloth

Cloth has come loose where it butts up against the rail. Is this a do it yourself repair? Is this common, what causes it? How should I go about fixing it?

I need a little more info. What kind of table is it and how long ago was the felt put on? What size of table?

It's an oversized 8' Gandy. Cloth installed 1 1/2 yrs ago by Bryan Roberts Route 66 Billiards in Louisville, KY.

It's 860 Simonis cloth.

When i work with Simonis i put a few dabs of silicone on the feather strips so the cloth will not pull out easy. My guess is the cloth has pulled out of the feather stripping. Unbolt the rail and remove the cloth from the rail and pull the cloth out of the feather stripping where it is coming loose and reinstall.
IT IS AN PRETTY EASY JOB.
