I thought this would be a good time to ask and seek help for this. I need to get my table recovered and perhaps solve a problem while I am at it.

I have a 9 foot AMF commercial grade table (forgot the model but it was before they made crap tables and plays like a GC).

When I had the table set up I asked to make the pockets tighter. I think they said they double or triple shimmed (sp?) them with rubber spacers. The pockets are clearly cut strange. It plays tight but maybe not as smooth as it should (and strange anles). Are there new ways to achieve this outcome that might be better?

Is there some talent in my neck of the woods that can maybe do something about this at a reasonable price and recover my table?

thanks
