Rail Work on my GC3 by jzmechanix

I would like to say thank you to jzmechanix for the rail work and the conversations. I shipped my rails to Jack and we settled on what cushions to use (Artemis Intercontinental, I have a motto "it only costs a quarter more to go first class"), what size pocket openings (4 1/2) and Jack went to work. He sent pictures with updates. Very fast turn around time.

Jack also referred me to Jeremy Chambers to finish the install. The previous install was done quite poorly and Jeremy corrected everything. Very happy with the whole process and how my table now plays.

You can check out Jacks work if you go to the mechanics directory, find jzmechanix and go to referrals & pictures, my table is GCIII and posting date of Feb. 15th. (if someone knows how to post the link to this thread that would be great)

Would also like to thank The Reverend and Dontlitethat for conversations as well.

Again thank you Jack I appreciate everything.

Mark

One thing about the room though, I didn't think Brett Hull played for the Blackhawks :grin-square: :p

Did Bobby sign that by chance?

Awesome work jerry..i wish i had your talents serving in my area

Jerry just put the table back together. Jack (jzmechanix) did all the rail work. I disassembled the table down to the slate and then just shipped Jack my rails.

In your pictures everyone can see how well the GC4 pockets fit in the GC3.
The pockets are interchangeable and fit better when installing the GC4 pockets on a 3 rather than installing the GC3 pockets on the 4.
Enjoy.
