Raising table height

Hi, just wondered if someone could help me with a quick question. I've got a brunswick GC3 that has been installed with the playing surface at 29 1/4", it has been that way for a year and is playing pretty level. I would like to lift it to 31". My plan was to get a car jack and wind out the feet to lift the height. I was thinking if i wind each foot the same number of rotations it should go back pretty level (presumably like most things in life it wont be that simple and might need some fine tuning).

Anyway, i was just a bit concerned that i may disturb the joints on the slate in the process and need to re-cloth the table. Basically just looking for a bit of feedback to let me know if this might be ok to go ahead with.

I have done this in the past when I moved my table a few inches. It works okay but I also used a piece of flat glass and a pool ball at various locations to fine tune the level.
