Presently I'm working on a new ramp design and was wondering if anyone else uses them? if so, maybe you can post some pics

Im curious in particular on the width and length. Presently I use 2 2 x8's with lips 5 ft long. But thinking a folding ramp 6 ft long would be better?

Lighter, less space etc
 
here is a pic of some 1.25 inch GC slate(see Glen-they do come thicker than one inch lol) I delivered down a steep stairwell by myself with the patent pending OTLVISE unit. Situations are never the same it seams(lol) and these ramps really make the job safer and easier. Only thing is they are too big and heavy.
