Was playing in a tournament at Brickyard Billiards yesterday. While waiting for my draw, I was looking at some pictures on the wall and ran across this one. As a matter of coincidence, Big Arm John was there playing a little later. I ended up playing one of my matches on the Diamond Bar Box next to the one he was playing on. John was wearing one of those cast boots or whatever you call them, apparently had an injury or some surgery. Didn't seem to hobble his pool game though. I get the nickname as well, he's one big guy. Lots of woofing going on between John and a few of the railbirds watching him play, pretty funny stuff.
