hi I have a straight great condition 1970's Joss West (sideways w) pool cue for sale.
i will try to get some better pics hopefully these are ok. just to give you some info about the cue i have had this cue in my possesion for the past 5-6 years a good friend of mine was the original owner he bought the cue brand new on his 18th birthday from a billiards hall in san mateo california. he must have turned 18 in the early 70's not sure how long he used it but it had been in storage for a number of years he no longer shot pool i have a table and used to shoot alot of pool so he offered to sell me the cue. I have several other cues and honestly probably only used the joss a handful of times. As far as i know everything is original i dont even think the tip has ever been changed. The cue is 57 3/8" tall shaft is 12mm and it weighs 19.1oz it has absoulutley no dings dents or cracks and rolls true and as best as i can tell is completely straight and not a ding or dent anywhere on the cue. The only flaw on the cue is some discoloration on the wrap at the top and bottom of the wrap i haven't tried to clean it but worse case scenario would be new wrap if it bothers you or wont clean up. Anyway just wanted to tell you what i know about the cue and it's history. I found 2 other cues that were identical to this one except the joints were solid black and this one has the small squares inlayed in the black by the joints. The other 2 i saw sold for $1,695.00 and $1,750.00 i am open to offers but i am hoping to get somewhere around $1,400.00 thanks for the interest and have a good day. if anyone is interested and buys the cue for my asking price of $1,400.00 i will pay all shipping and send cue overnight to buyer. And for what it is worth if for some reason you receive the cue and feel i have not properly represented the cue and it's condition you pay return shipping and i will refund your money. i am comfortable using paypal for the sale of the cue. thanks
