I posted this in the Runde Schon thread previously but thought it deserved it's own thread.
This is an extremely rare cue. I've only seen 4 cues from this series. This cue was refinished and verified by Runde last year. He also made a new shaft with an ivory ferrule. The old shafts have ferrules with a slightly yellow look.
The butt of the cue weighs 14.94 ounces. The new shaft weighs 4.11 oz and measures 12.8 mm. The older shafts are 3.74 oz/11.5 mm & 3.13 oz/12.1 mm. The joint is a 5/16 x 14 flat-faced using brass inserts in the shaft. To my amazement, this cue rolls "dead straight" with all 3 shafts. There are a couple of scrathes in the finish now from being in a cheap case and one shaft collar shows wear.
Not only is this a true collector's cue but it plays well to boot!
The asking price for the cue with all three shafts is $1800.
For anyone who might not know, Dallas is a 2-time US Open 14.1 champion inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame in 1996.
