Here is a very rare hard to find Sherm Adamson cue that was made in 2004. Sherm retired from cue making a couple of years after he made this cue. The forearm and butt sleeve are Purpleheart with 6 Ebony CNC points in the forearm. There is a white (Ivory??) diamond inlay in each point and 6 of the same in the butt sleeve. There are Bushka rings at 3 positions in the butt and also used in the joint collars. I would rate the condition at 90% due to the issues that are noted in the specs. The specs are:
Butt: 15.74 ounces. Butt is straight. The forearm is in excellent condition with no apparent dents, dings or finish issues. The butt sleeve is dent and ding free. The finish is lifting on both of the Bushka rings, which I have tried to show in the pictures Sherm’s signature and date have partially rubbed off of the butt cap.
Shaft 1: 3.72 ounces, 13.00 mm. Shaft has been used and has a taper roll. The tip does not leave the table.
Shaft 2: 3.84 ounces, 12.99 mm. Shaft is in new, unplayed condition and is straight. The Bushka ring joint collar has the same finish lifting issue as the Bushka rings in the butt sleeve.
The balance point with the lighter shaft is 18 ½ inches from the butt. The cue has a very nice, solid hit and plays very well. Sherm’s cues have not come up for sale more than a couple of times in the last 6 years.
SOLD or best offer for this rare, hard to find beauty including shipping in the CONUS.
Please feel free to PM or email me at ****@***.com if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Pat
