Ray Hansen Friday night "challenge" not actually a challenge

Was viewing all the comments on Rays facebook and basically it is summarizes as the following:

- just hall challenged danny Smith the current friday night champions
- justin has challenged him before but gets dodged
- rules of the fight night are both players must agree to play even
-therefore it would be reasonable to assume that danny think he needs a ball or 2
-this lack of belief stems from j hall barking to play frost even
-hall wants to play but ig continues to get dodged is undermining the fight night challenge because thats not what it is players are choosing their games they can win not playing challengers

i agree with j hall in the fact if you are the champion you should play who is challenging and putting up the 10k

however did see hall say he would get stakehorse after year he had and mosconi winnings being this confident not sure why he wouldnt stake himself entirely???

oh danny smith has personally responded and basically like Pacquaio :lets give the fans what they want: bet what you want.
 
I was reading that as well and it didn't make much sense. It's a challenge match BUT, only if I think I can beat you. WTF! Anyone should be able to step up I would think, otherwise it's like APA. You're 7 so you can't play in this tournament, gotta give the bangers a chance :-/.

makes sense to me looked like Justin Hall made a challenge and Danny Smith said yes that would be a great fight night imo
 
Definitely agree ^^^^^!! I was commenting on the earlier post mentioning Danny could decline if he wanted. King of the hill should take on all comers period!
 
I hope ray gets his streaming or site better, so people can purchase to watch the matches after their all done,.,for example it starts on Weds. usually and people who work day shift hours cant stay up all night watching it and when they get off work cant catch up on what they missed since the match starts again and the stream carries over,.,i work nights for example I go into work when it starts and get off after its over, I cant stay up all day catching up on what I missed and still go back to work later that day, and once again the layover for the stream starts over,.,i asked once if I could purchase a match after it was all over ,.,it was Sat. morning around 5-6am,.,he said yea but you will only be able to watch until 12pm then the layover will cut off,.,,.i just hope he can get his streams better to where it can be viewed at convienence rather than set time frames, and that he can upload them to his site for purchase,.,id buy multiple if this becomes possible even though its been "in the works" for a while now

When you have a family and you survive only on the winnings that you make off pool it's a little more harder then you think to risk your entire yearly income on a gambling match.

This match will be for WAY!!!!!!! more then 10k and he will bet some of his own, but he couldn't stake himself for all of it.

Guys that play good and can be trusted shouldn't take on the whole nut unless they have no other way to do it.

The play is better and theres more action when theres more money floating around a game.
 
looks like hall and danny is a go when we get teh date as a pre match looks like shane winters and robb saez play bar table 10 ball for least 10 also

if efren called in to play even
should danny accept??
i think its a challenge match with the game negotiated to be "fair....;)"
sometimes a man has to know his limitations

Have you ever heard the words "Justin hall is the greatest 1 pocket player of all time" ? They've played all games even for years, trust me I was IN on it most of the time. So how long should someone be allowed to protect their king of the hill title? It doesn't matter because Jhall made sure he talked enough $h!t that Danny couldn't dodge the match.

I don't think that it is a matter of how much time someone should be allowed to protect their king of the hill title.

It should be more about how Ray Hansen/Big Truck/PoolActionTv.com should maximize the popularity of these events.

People are excited about these FIGHT NIGHT MATCHES. He's done a GREAT JOB of promoting these events and I am sure he will continue to tweak them to improve them in the future.

Just like in the boxing world, where the athletes talk smack about one another, trying to get a match and maximize their earnings; the same should be done here in the pool world.

Often times a particular player will have more than a couple of potential players and stake horses who think they can best a particular player.

As long as there are people waiting in line that think they can spank the king, he should be able to pick and choose his opponents.

But more importantly than anything else, IMO, is that I HOPE that the FIGHT NIGHT MATCHES won't get so frequent that they lose the public's interest because of that frequency. I believe that promoters like PoolActionTV.com need to allow the potential matches to simmer, instead of just throwing one match after the other.

FIGHT NIGHT MATCHES are for SERIOUS ENTERTAINMENT, imo.

I understand how you or anyone can feel when they want to see a particular match but one player seems to be dodging the other. Long-term promotion of FIGHT NIGHT MATCHES must take priority over other interests.

If there are too many FIGHT NIGHT MATCHES back to back, the public's interest may wane and that is not a good thing.
