I went thru something similar. Your biggest enemy is yourself. Don't think, just play, if you had skills before and you still have the knowledge, it will come back. But remember it's a lot harder getting it back. To know that you shouldn't miss that ball and no explanation of why you did is embarrassing, but if you struggle thru all these moments you will play better than ever. If you can't survive this trial then I'm afraid your doomed for life. Remember, pool is a fun game, enjoy it, don't think. Your brain will only get in the way.
