Hi there, I'm in the market for a jump/break cue and I've read good reviews here about the J&J j/b cues, but I'm curious if anyone here has experience with J&J as a player's cue? If you click on the link I'm thinking of item 2731COM.

They offer these cues with a playing shaft as well. I was thinking of picking one up with both shafts for when I'm going places where I might not want to take my regular player.

Thanks in advance for any input-

J.

I have a J&J 4414 which is discontinued, but they still make the 4410. It plays quite well. I opted for an extra shaft while I was at it. Still have the cue today at my primary break cue and plays well as a playing cue also. Only difference is that mine is a 1st gen with a 5/16x18 piloted joint. All of the current generation 441X are 5/16x18 flat faced joints. I bought one for my dad and sister, they seem to play just as well as mine.

mamono, thanks for the input. I'll give it a try. Heck, worst case scenario is that I don't like the playing shaft and I'm out $30...
