Hi All,

Anyone living local recommand a local bar to hit some pool balls tonight? or tomorrow night?

Thanks,
Steve

P.S.

going out for a few hours tonight, need some competition? LOL

Look up Stadium Billiards. It's located on the ground level of the stadium where the Reading Phillies play minor league baseball. Some strong shooters there. If you really want competition (action), ask for a black guy named "Ace".

If you're looking for 9ft tables, I doubt you'll find them.... I've never been to the stadium but I'm familiar enough with that part of PA to tell you that 9 ft tables are scarce and having been to a few Reading Phillies games in the past, I don't recall seeing anything large enough to hold 9 footers. LOL, I think PA is the bar table capital of the world... it it's not, it's got to be a close 2nd! :p

Cheers,

I work in Reading. There are NO places to play on 9 ft tables. Stadium Billiards on Centre Street closed about 6 months ago. You will have to resort to bar table action! And it's hard to find action!! PM me and I may have a few suggestions if you want to stay strictly in Reading or on bar tables...otherwise, you will have to go to Pottsville, Frazier, Downingtown, or Allentown to play on 9 ft tables. Hope this helps!

It used to have a good room Called Suzy Q's out of town a little owned by Reading Rich Sluzalis (sp). I think they moved it to Frackville...if you have to ask where Frackville is, you'll never find it!:D...I think you have to be Amish to get there!

Hard to believe a town of 81000 does not have a pool room with big tables!
Welcome to my hell called Pennsylvania.

Timberly you need to stop blasting on PA...make some people mad :D
It's not the people, it's the pool rooms (or lack thereof). ;)

I've got some very, very good friends here. They're what makes my stay here bearable....other than my friends and my job, I can't say too many good things about it.... the taxes are absolutely ridiculous, the weather is cold, it snows, & the pool rooms (if there are any) are less than desirable....

The people are pretty kewl though.
