Mike, those are some great looking points. What are your feelings about hardwood "veneers" and prong stability? Do you think it adds a lot vs. the traditional sycamore (soft) veneers....or with today's glues does it really matter?

This is strictly personal opinion, I core all forearms, where 10 years ago I didn't, So I feel coring has become on major aspect of stability, The glues used today are far superior than what we had in the past, I use epoxy for everything, all points are dried under pressure. Most of the veneered cues are done very well, Carmelli, DZ cues, Paul Mottey, Paul Fanelli, Mark Bear. All second to none but the real reason for doing recuts is Everybody does veneers. There are more cuemakers popping up every day. Recuts are just my way of offering something a little different. When I am totally satisfied with my knowledge level, Then I am useless as a student of my craft. My quest started in 1991 and I hope I continue to push for more knowledge.
