Hey everyone!

I'm headed out to Red Deer a week from tomorrow for like two weeks. I'm afraid I'm going to go into serious withdrawals if I don't get to shoot some pool ;) Is there any good pool halls around the area?

Thanks,
Ry

Ry ... Why are you going to Canada? Last time my brother went there,
he shot a Black Bear with 1 arrow. Brought it back, had it stuffed, and
it is the resident bartender behind his bar in his game room where the
Pool table is (I have to get a picture on here for you ...lol). For some
reason, I want to name him Harvey, I think it from an old movie I saw as
a kid. They dress him up according to the festivities and holiday. He
stands over 6 and a half feet tall.

Forget Dead Rear, take the hour and 20min drive up to Edmonton, Lots of decent pool rooms.

Borderline Club 9271- 34th Ave (southside):)
Cue Club 15121-stony plain rd. (Central) lots of Action to be had:) :)
The Metro 1250 - 106 Street (downtown) Classy establishment top notch :) :) :)
Finnigans 13560 Fort Road lots of tables (if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all) oh yeah 1 or 2 hot waitresses(northside):)
The Billiard Club 10505 - 82 Ave (southside)
Keg N Q Billiards 8126 -82 Ave(southside)
Lancasters 4539-118th Ave. (northside) um wrong side of the tracks leave it at that:confused:
The Highrun Club 4926 98th Ave (southeast) nice table 24hrs :) :)

Thanks for all the info ya'll! I'm just headed up there to visit some friends :) I'm from NC so I really don't have a clue about the area. The people I'm visiting aren't pool players either, so they don't really know anything about the scene up there. Going to try to work on that some though ;)

I'm still trying to decide what to do about my cues. I want to take them with me, but I really hate having to check them. I so wish you could still carry them on. If ya'll have any experience with that, feel free to throw your two cents in. I ordered a porper travel case today, in case I do decide to take mine with me. I have an instroke case, so I'm not overly worried about the cues getting damaged... more worried about them getting lost somewhere.

Thanks everyone!
Ry
