I have never heard of Jimmy Reeves cues. When/where did he make them? If you get one, post the pics. I'd like to see his work, as I'm sure several others would.
Good luck.

Reeves Custom Cues located in Easley, SC, 30 mins away from Greenville. Pro player Larry Nevel works with Jimmy Reeves making cues. You can call him at 864-313-4832 or check out their websites:

In the October 2005 issue of Billiard Digest, there is an article about Larry Nevel making cues with Reeves.

I found the website ... http://www.reevescues.com/index.html ..

Thanks for the website jazz.I play pool with larry nevel thats why I wanted to see if any one plays with them.I tryed one and like the reeves cues so much that I am ordering a set probally next month. Larry said they are working on the web site and it should be updated soon .The cues were the most consistant cue I ever played with and I played with 7 of them. That why I posted and thought maybe I could pick one up in trade but I doubt any one would part with one.The cue can look as good as cog's with silver inlays and things like that but they hit awsome not that real dead dough hit very consistant from cue to cue no matter what joint type they use.

He worked with Mike Gullasey (sledgehammer break cues) up until a few years ago and went out on his own

I can't attest for the hit of the cues but I can tell you that you'll never meet anyone nicer or more honest than Jimmy Reeves or his brother Tommy Reeves. I've known these guys for almost 15 yrs. Genuine, good guys. :)
