Razor blade= fastest, cleanest, driest way.
Learn it and you'll never look back.

We all have our own techniques and whether you wetsand or use a razorblade, as long as the end result is optimum, that's all that matters !!!


I do use a razor to clean up a wrap groove and also to remove the bulk of old finish, but I do not take it all the way down to the bare wood.... I wetsand the last couple of layers just to insure a smooth surface and ZERO chance of scarring the wood..... "in my opinion".
