I was just practicing my refinishing skills never thought I would stumble into a love story....
Beneath the cheap finish uneven rings and rushed inlays I found her.
All she needed was 30 minutes....literally 30 minutes of sanding is what it took to make this cue silky smooth.
I plan to keep sanding I'm at 375 grit plan to go all the way to 3000. Then a nice subdued tung oil finish and she will be better than new.
I hit a couple racks with the cue prior and it played solid. Similar feel to my old Josswest. For the price it can't be beat.
The quality of the forearm BEM is quite good for a cheap import. All in all this cue has been a pleasant surprise.
The wrap is in great shape unfortunately.....I am very interested to see the construction technique of these points. The veneers are two red two black .
If you can find one cheap it is definitely worth it.
