That's some good stuff. It has very mild abrasive qualities and really makes things slick on machine surfaces. I tried it on shafts and it started out ok but over time, not that slick. I don't recommend it for that. I do think it's a great product for maintaining the finish though.
Renaissance wax has no abrasive qualities and works great for cue finishes, leather wraps and shafts with proper burnishing. I've used everything and this is the one. http://www.restorationproduct.com/renwaxinfo.html
