I recently responded, and rather harshly I might add, to a post against seeding players in a tourney. The fundamental principle of bracket seeding is in itself a very good decision for our sport. The pros far outway the cons, which I think we will all agree, are the players themselves. Vegas rarely carries a line for pool matches because our players are easily swayed, mostly due to being underpaid. But, only we can change this..as I said in my reply, "..why would a promoter want to take a risk on a bunch of hustlers." The hustle has become obsolete with the internet coming into full effect..I.e. this is a post from my droid phone, on which I can also do picture searches, lol..The issue, and indeed the solution lies amongst us. Firstly, play your game no matter the cost. This is a basic principle all other sportsmen seem to embrace, though admittedly even I have lacked recently. I will embrace this change wholeheartedly starting now, and I expect the same from all A players. We are under more scrutiny now than ever before, and we can't expect good pay-outs unless we aspire to the nobility that we are. This great sport, that we are fortunate to have loved, can only be resurrected by our own steadfastness as its Kings. Indeed the future of it absolutely depends on it..Don't we all wish everyone to remember this is The Sport of Kings. If u don't, then take up fox hunting because that is all there is that is even close. As for me and mine, we will uphold honor, loyalty, and respect. Even though my tattoo says hustle, lol.
