The Reno Open is starting today. Does anyone know where we'll be able to get brackets, updates and results?

If someone were willing to travel to the UPA tournaments and the bigger tournaments like this and do what Shane did... I'd be more than happy to pay a subscription fee to their website to help pay for it.nineballcc said:

No ma'am...that be my new job! All I have in life are two fish that my neighbor could take care of.... Just invest in a laptop, find someone (hint hint) that I know that can set up the website and see what happens. I'm sure there would be more interest than just the two of us, but not enough to make a living at it. If there were enough to make a living at it, I would do it in a heartbeat! But I don't think it would generate enough to cover the travel exspenses...nineballcc said:

If I were to go this Summer, most of my vacation time would have been used up and I probably would't be able to go to any other tournaments (like the US Open) later in the year. I'd like to be there though. I like the Diamond tables a lot (I own one, in fact). I might head up to Sacremento later this month to play in the 9-ball tournament at Hard Times. I'll only need to use 1 vacation day for that one.

I've got quite a few friends playing in it as well and would love to be able to follow it. I spoke to one of them about 4 hrs ago and they said that the first round was supposed to start at 2 (1 hr ago from now) and that at that time, they hadn't finished posting the brackets. Sounded like they were running a little behind or at least cutting it close. I just hate calling anyone out there because I never know when they're playing or sleeping etc... I just have to sit here patiently and hope that one of them is thoughtful enough to call with an update.Salamander said:

Funny I played my first match today against Tim Hall and my mate called me at 11:10 and said "get some clothes on and get your ass down here now" lol!
I had slept through my alarm and nearly scratched! I won my match 9-4 but then played like a goose and lost my next!
I play again at 11am tomorrow so fingers crossed I wake up.
Top players here include, Manalo, Delicous, Barracks, Matlock, Horsefall, Parica, Puttman, Owen, Davis, etc..
Two of my mates from Australia drew each other first round lol! John wimms won and I think he plays Cohan tomorrow.
and barracks was playing owen.
will look at the draw if get chance for more info
