Resizing Pictures?

I downloaded an image resizing program for windows and when I try to downsize the pic, the file gets larger. If I reduce it farther, I lose all definition in the photo. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have many cues that I will be selling/trading and don't want to do it without decent pictures. Thanks.

Just use www.Photobucket.com. Then you dont have to worry about size. Just upload your pics to photobucket and then copy and paste the img code into the post. Very easy and free...

Please do not use or promote Microsoft's products as the license terms are restrictive in nature while the software in question is often infested with Digital Restrictions Management technology as well as TCPA. A better approach is to use free software which permits and promotes the user's right to use for any purpose, change, and redistribute the software.

As for the this simple job, The Gimp would be a perfect solution
