First, did anyone go to this?
This was the Jillian's pool tourney in Seattle, WA, held this weekend. Player participation was at about 50, due to a combination of the following: 1) the NWPA tourney in Salem, OR, and 2) according to Jeff at Dr. Cue's, a lot of people were under the impression that the tourney was a max of 32 players.
There were rumours that Santos was going to show up, but apparently he called and said he couldn't make it.
Special visiting guest from Texas was Steven "Lizard" Smith, who announced his presence with a 7-0 over one of the local heavyweights. He did rather well in the tourney but didn't make it into the money.
1st place: Randy Comantique (sp?)
2nd place: Dan Louie
3rd place: Mike Zimmermann
