Reuben Fisher Cues the worst cue experience I have ever had

Now that sucks sorry to hear this, but sometimes it's wroth spending
a little extra and going with a decent cue maker.

I have actually dealt with him when I started shooting again. I traded my Golf Clubs for two cues and a jump cue. One of my shafts needed refaced but other than that it was a smooth transaction. When I contacted him about the shaft he was more than happy to fix it but I traded the cue to Scott Erwin for a Purple heart Break cue.
 
Everything was nice and smooth
Time took a long time
When the issues showed up he talked a good game
But as we agreed to refund the money....that just isnt happening

Even with his health issues at hand he was very eager to take my money and sell me this cue
The cue didnt turn out to be what it was and he isnt eager to refund it even though he said he would

I wish him no ill will I hope he recovers well but a business deal is a business deal
You stand by what you do and make it right

Sorry for the next words - but:

I can't - for the love of god - understand why you would buy from "some guy that says he does custom cues" and are disappointed afterwards because something or everything went wrong!

Also - by law! - you are guaranteed to get a proper product, even if the seller says "no backsies" - you cannot take away that right. At least he has to try and remedy the problems. On HIS costs.

I think even in the Wild West that is the USA you have laws like this! Use them and go to the small claims court (it think it's called that way).
Or, take your motorcycle friends for a nice tour.

Or, even better - f***** buy a production cue from Mezz, Exceed or OB already.

So lets say 75% here as well
WTH right why buy a custom cue just go production based instead
why do people modify cars
why do people cut their hair etc
Its something that a person wants to be different
Be their own one of a kind cue
Look their own way to their own likes thats the reason I buy custom stuff or modify stuff

If I wanted to go all 1% on the guy yes that could have happened already
I know people in Sioux City that can make the trip
Maybe 10yrs ago but things change when you get older as well
 
Sorry to hear of your problem with the Fisher Cue and the lack of satisfaction in finding a solution to the issues.

Reuben needs to make thinks right, to not is unacceptable.

Reuben does make good cues, I have one, the butt and both shafts are perfect in every way.

One of Reuben's friend has contacted me and offered a possible solution
If we can come to terms
If not.....I still havent heard at all from Reuben Fisher
Not a single attempt to text or call since Jan 25th
