Can you get a replacement red pad for a Revo?will another brand pad work the same?Does it need the pad?

I was told by Predator that you have to send the cue to them to get the pads for the Revo, also the BK Hybrid Tip, which is not available anywhere. Unless things have changed this is what they told me two weeks ago.

If either pad is compromised you loose all warranty coverage also.
 
Yes it needs the pad, why do you ask? Is yours damaged or did the cue guy remove it thinking it was part of the old tip? Without it, the warrantee as stated above, is out the window. A regular red fiber pad s not the same, even though it may look similar. If it has only been cut down, not a big prob as long as it isn't below their minimum thickness, which is .010" . https://www.predatorcues.com/customer-service/#ANCHOR2 If it is, then it needs to be sent in to them to replace it, in order to maintain the warrantee. Also, I have been told, some damage may happen without it. Not sure if that's true, but at $$$ for the shaft, keep it original, and if the cue repair guy isn't familiar with them....don't use that guy, imho.
