Hey everyone!
Does anyone know anything about rich Q and if they hold any collector value? Picture for reference.
Seems straight, missing tip.

they have little value for most of them as not many players liked them at all.
that one looks like one of the mass produced ones after it was sold so have little if any value.

by little value i mean collector value. it has just the value of a pool cue.

There were two men made Rich cues….they were relatives…this one looks to be from Florida.

The logo looks cheaply done, so I’d hazard a guess that this was from the Imperial era.

He asked about Rich Q, which is not Abe Rich (Florida Cues, Star Cues).
Did Abe Rich do something with ILC/9Hearts or is it just the guy selling ILC/9hearts on Xianyu has a few Abe Rich cues for sale? They look amazing. Way way wayyyy out of my budget or what I'd ever spend. But very unique and beautiful.

Sorry if a little off topic. Know nothing of the above cue.

when rich was in new york few if any players i remember bought his cues as they played poorly and were not high quality compared to paradise and palmer

Link? I know of no Abe Rich cue that would be out of anyone’s budget.

There's a few from this seller. Sells some nice 9hearts and ILC product.
Maybe it's in the style of Abe Rich? Or I dunno. Too busy/lazy/stupid to translate it.

They have nothing to do with Abe Rich, unless somehow they are paying his nephew money to use his name. I doubt it.

These are built in the South West style. Is this from Lucky?

(Edit - ILC is Lucky - Iwao Hishinuma)

Yes, they're ILC cues I believe. Three or four of them listed have this name on them.
The seller is a nice guy, I bought some things from him previously. Helped me source some quality shafts, and a friend purchased a 9hearts cue from him.

More cheap knockoff 💩 from China. That country is a cancer
I’f have to see it in my hand. Lucky is from Japan. The photos look good. The wording is explicitly giving homage to Jerry Franklin. For some reason he is using Abe Rich as marketing. Probably in the same vein as Adam Cues using names like Stamboulini. Just marketing.

Here’s what the Apple Translate says:

Ball Club ILC Club Brand New

Mr. Lucky is old and reluctant to do complicated inlays. (It's good, the inlays are often more than 100,000) and decided to do some simple Lao Shao styles for the rest of his life to miss his good brother Jerry (Franklin), who is also a teacher and friend. Therefore, the collision music series was born. "Bushing music" means to enjoy the fun of different wood impact.

The wood in the back has been dried for at least 30 years. This is tulip wood with maple and thread. Abe Rich (cue) is the same Alabachia maple as Ba Shen. It is a product of the 18th century and has been naturally dried for more than 120 years. The horn restores the use of Old Shao.”

Started to suspect you might have a little bit of that cancer lodged in your brain from your recent posting?

I spoke to the guy who runs the store. Lovely guy. He deals direct with Lucky, and you're right. It's an 'homage' type deal. Exquisite craftsmanship on all the cues in his store. Typical Japanese exquisiteness in the labour. If it wasn't so time-consuming to do, I'd screenshot and post up more of them here. All of the ILC/9hearts and the shafts he sells are top notch. I bought my ILC Monster shaft from him, which I use for Chinese-8, and it's flawless.
