yes--- the yellow micarta is kinda lite buttery when 'new' or cleaned up... it's the oils in your hand that turns them deep yellow according to Drexler... i have a 'new' one on my SW shaft that hasn't yellowed yet he installed..miah g. said:thats what they seem to be. i believe they are just clean. they have not aged yet. in their current state they are a very buttery color. that, to my knowledge is the way yellow micarta is before it ages. if anyone can tell meany different, then by all means please let me know. i would call and ask Richard if i had his number. thanks
