I had the pleasure again today of speaking with cuemaker Rick Howard about possibly building a 4th cue for me. In the 35 plus years I've been designing and buying custom cues from a vast number of cue makers, I have yet to come across a more knowlegable and open individual.
Rick's workmanship is second to none and as I found he can build pretty much anything you want. Not only do his cues feel as good as any I've had in my hands but they are actually very afordable and the finish is as durable as a tank.
The cues he built for me in the past had his standard stock shafts but he's currently making a new shaft in addition to his standard ones called the "RH Factor Shaft" which is ultra low deflection and will compete with any low deflection shaft on the market. I happen to know this because I have the very first one he ever made. I've let diehard predator users try the shaft and much to their surprise found themselves ordering one of their own.
