I ventured with my 19 month old son to our state tournament yesterday to watch the "A" players play. After walking in, I looked first at the items they were selling just to familiarize myself with the years' memorabilia. I happened to look over and saw this man who looked a little odd sitting there but looked kinda familiar. After walking over by him and looking around him on the table, I noticed there was alot of Dave Pearson stuff and this guy was signing the photos for patrons who wanted them. I couldn't believe my eyes, it WAS Dave Pearson! We had a nice little conversation, and he really IS a nice person to speak to. We even discussed woods used in cues! lol He's a fan of cocobolo BTW! He was going to put on a show and take challenges later that evening for the willing, but I wasn't going to be there that long 
Anyways, I asked him if I could have an autograph and he said very kindly "SURE, who do I make it out to?" I WAS going to have it made out to my boy, but I figured I'd have it made out to me so when I'm gone, my boys will have something else of mine that was special to me. I didn't know he was going to be there at all so it was a nice surprise! I guess I was in the right place at the right time? lol Enjoy my pic!
