we are new to the industry. can someone be good enough to explain a ring game. thanks, b.b.

A basic ring game takes place between 3 or more players in 9 or 10 ball.
There are several variations of different ring games but this is the basic one to gamble the night away. One player breaks and shoots til he/or she misses or runs out for the money. Everyone shoots in turn until you make the 9 or ten and if you do everyone pays you off for whatever your playing for. Every once in awhile, nornally after playing the amount of games that there are players you change order of the players. However the player who won the last game before order change still breaks then all other players follow in order of draw or flip or however you choose.
There are variations of this game. For instance you may want payoffs on other balls before the 9 or 10 like on the 5. Also you must always attempt to hit the ball you are shooting at. However there is no ball in hand and no 3 foul rule. If you do not hit the object ball the next shooter has option of shooting or having you shoot again. All scratches would be b.i.h. behind the line and the incoming player would still have the option to shoot or give it back to you even though you scratched.
There are variations of ring games but basically any game with 3 or more players is called a ring game.
