I've heard this rumor at least once a year for the last 6 or 7 years. With the economy the way it is, I would think that there is more of a possibility these days than in years past.
last year i was told by some of the dealers and my host that they signed a 5 year contract with them and thats why they are still remodeling but they may just be blowing smoke. ive heard the darts moved and poss one of the other leauges. who knows. id like to see it somewhere else. a harrahs owned place would be great. i get more comps there. (pre paid actually but oh well lol)
The photo of the Riviera Hotel/Casino is so nice, too bad the place like Circus Circus is a DUMP.

I have heard they are remodeling because,,,,, they intend to stay open. But,, in my opinion, they are remodeling because there is someone wanting the land, and they are driving the price up, or at least using it for negotiations. I believe this is the last year of the VNEA contract, but I could be wrong. I like the layout for the tournies at the Riv. Gotta wonder how much the other places will gouge you for everything when they move.
