ok, someone enlighten me here. what exactly is the definition of a "Road Player?" or what does it mean exactly when a pool player is going to hit the road and play?
A road player is really just that: Someone who goes on the road to play. Basically, you go around to different places, looking for action. Spend a few days here, few days there, and play in as many money games (and sometimes tournaments) as you can. You just go where there's action.
I would add that a road player is someone considered talented enough to make it on the road. Many players have tried to go on the road and wound up coming home busted. A player that can stay on the road is a "road player" and one to be wary of.
