Anyone know if Ron Thomas is still making cue cases?

I saw this on eBay recently (and no I aint the one selling it) stating that he no longer makes cases... I could've sworn that On The Hill Cue Sales was still selling them not too long ago.

As fdar as I know he is still in business. Billiards and Bagels had some really nice ones at the BCA Expo.

Call Jerry Olivier in Houston to get in touch with Ron, # 281-996-8030

On The Hill Q Sales does sell Ron Thomas cases still. Troy Oldham (owner of OTH Q Sales) is a personal friend of mine for years. Great guy to do business with.

I got the impression that he wasn't making them anymore, because On The Hill, Billiard Warehouse, and Annie O's haven't had them for quite some time (you'll find Troy's Thomas page if you do a search, but it's no longer linked from his home page). All of these sites used to carry a complete line. Later, I heard that Ron could set you up if you called him personally.

If Ron Thomas is still making cases, I'll buy a couple more. I really like my 1x2 Thomas elephant print.

BTW, the guy in that eBay auction might have meant that that style of Thomas case isn't being made anymroe. That's the first time I've one of those.

Thanks LC3 and glad to see that people are paying attention to our vendor list!

Ron Thomas is alive and well attending the Midwest Expo/Open next week. I hear that he has a real good selection of cases just for this show.

My friend Ron Thomas has been making cases for many years. He is now making leather cases exclusively. He's making the old Fellini style cases. You can see them at http://www.jimbuss.com/thomas.htm.

His prices are $175.00 for standard leather, Deluxe leather gets $200.00 and his "signature series leather" gets $250.00. slings/pouches are also available. Ron is in Lafayette, Louisiana at 337-237-0163.

If you like this style case, then this is the way to go. For fancy tooled leather, it's still Jack Justis, and for the tube case, Dan Whitten is the man. This just about covers any cue case any player could ever need. All 3 are high quality and made in the USA.
