I use to find his earlier works quite shoddy.

Until recently i started seeing his works that are copies of other cuemakers designs.

I am not talking about simple 4 pt 4 veneers with some inlay type. some are actually very intricate and complicated.

Let's just say i got scared. If someone can replicate a cue to such an extend and at such price ( far less then a fraction of the original's cost). I wonder what will happen if a whole host of chinese or more pinoy or indonesian craftsman starts to take an interest.
 
I have two of Jenor's cues, and two from his nephew Steve Urate. There is NOTHING shoddy about their work! I own too many cues now, or I'd buy this one in a heartbeat! Take a good look at what he's got here. That is quality! It's just a shame that he is so far away, because his work would make a lot of pool players VERY happy. Keep up the good work Jenor.

Yes, i can confirm the good playability of Urate Cues.
I own two of them and they play really good. For this price you cant go wrong.
