I say Ronnie was ROBBED big time in today's sixth frame. Here is with the frame and possibly even the match in the balance and Denis Taylor cracks a joke about mistaking a spectator as Patsy Fagan. And the crowd at the Ally Pally breaks out in laughter just as Ronnie is about to size up his shot that really had he made it would have given him the frame and it's 4-2 instead of 5-1.

I get why they are allowed ear pieces, but at least Taylor could have waited until AFTER Ronnie shot before getting the fans in a tizzy.

Don't be ridiculous. Trump just blew Ronnie away, and would have continued to do so no matter what. The match was only in the balance when it was nil-nil. I was very impressed with Trump yesterday - showed maturity and class.

As for Taylor, he's top notch in terms of tactics, shot selection etc, but I wish he'd STFU occasionally. He can't seem to keep quiet, full of inane guff about 1. where a player's from, 2. how nice everyone is, and 3. 'bad contacts'.

He did redeem himself yesterday with the Patsy Fagan cock-up, however.
