room owners taking care of pool players

it occured to me the other day when i played a very small bar tournament that has been a weekly thing with an average of 15 players every week that they really dont care. we have asked him a few different times to please have the tables redone and he absolutely refuses to, with that big of a turn out and that much money coming in he would take care of it, and i realized that not very many owners do take care of their tables

I agree, I think for the owner it is all about the business. As long as people are willing to play on garbage tables, why should they change. Regardless of the condition, for owners, if it don't make dollars it don't make sense. You are asking the owner to spend money when they don't have to, the players are still going to play.
