Rusty's in Arlington,Tx closing...??

Heard that this Dallas area pool institution is closed. Any Dallas AZ'rs know why? Is the Ft.Worth location still open??
 
Thanks for the heads up about it closing. I had plans on driving from Abilene to Arlington and dropping the wife off at Parks Mall while I go donate money to the local economy at Rusty’s, but it looks like now I’ll have endure tagging along with the wife while she tries on shoes. I think I’d rather lose money playing 9 ball. Lol

if you wanna hit balls there's a couple clicks/speeds not too far. not same deal but something to do.
 
I was told that they "over served" one of the patrons who went out and had a bad car accident. Was also told that they have to be down 90 days and that they are transferring ownership of the liquor license and opening under a new name.

the driver or his victim? place i play has a bar and they're pretty good at cuttin people off and getting them a cab/uber. more than one club in town has closed because of over-serving related lawsuits. gotta be pro-active even if it pisses off your best customers/tippers.

Looked at their FB page and owner is apparently looking for new tables so the re-open under a new name/location rumor may be true. Hope so.

Rusty’s Ft Worth just down the road and Clicks is nice in Arlington as well.
